“What do you think about getting a few chickens?”
Those words were spoken several years back while we lived in a neighborhood with a small back yard and a few vegetables growing in our raised garden beds. Little did we know that those few chickens would lead us to a life of farming. What started as a fun hobby and a way to produce some food for our family has grown to a farm in the country and a desire to supply food for our local community.
